- Verena did not invite all palosanto carvers to this workshop, but only a few that she thought might be most interested.
- Felip's father was not a chief, but a shaman. Also, the great chief Tofaay was not an ancestor of Felipe's, but he seems to admire him a lot. I misunderstood the story.
